With Empowering People Movements housing program, our mission is to reduce the rent burden. One solution with house sharing has proven to work is room sharing and house sharing until individuals can save up to move into their own homes. Finding a home to do this for can be difficult. With high-security deposits, application fees, and upfront costs housing can be challenging for individuals, especially those re-entering the workforce. With prices for housing increasing, helping individuals with extremely low income to sustain housing in a high-rent community is our mission. If we cannot find housing placement, we will provide fees associated with moving costs.
